Abstract.
In the article the models of the Yiddish verbs formation by means of joining the prefix der- to the productive stem, the conditioned by prefixation morphosyntactic peculiarities of these prefixal verbs and also their stylistic characteristics determined by extralinguistic factors are considered. General conclusions about similarities and differences between the Yiddish prefixal verbs with der- and the German verbs with er- are drawn.
