Abstract.
The article touches on a problem of using the linguistic-cultural material in a textbook of Russian as a foreign language. On the basis of the analysis of the textbooks “Let’s Start!”, “Russian? It’s Simple!”, “Russian Language: 5 Elements” and “Russian - Exam - Tourism” the authors identified the methods for representation of linguistic-cultural material and introduced the techniques of working with it.
