Abstract.
The article is devoted to the description of artistic space which has conditioned the world outlook of Sh. Bikchurin. The author considers the characteristics of space as a main category of being, analyzes the types of artistic space in the prose of Sh. Bikchurin: social and living, closed, open, concrete, abstract, psychological, mythological, geographical space of nature. On the basis of the given examples the problem of functioning of the texts which organize artistic space is revealed.
