Abstract. The article presents a description of the stages of linguo-cognitive modeling of the lexico-phraseological field “Intellectual Activity” on the basis of the universal structural model of macro- and micro-fields. The author specifies the typical explicit and implicit identifiers of a field, estimates the share of phraseological units on macro- and micro-fields by the material of the English language.
