Abstract.
The article sets a task to examine the strategy of creating multiple interpretant as one of the methods for avoiding giving an answer in the political discourse. The essence of the article is the analysis of the fragment of George Bush Jr.’s political discourse. By the example of the analyzed fragment the author shows a sequence of consistent actions implemented by the politician to avoid giving a direct answer to a certain question.
