Abstract.
The article presents itself a description of one of the possible means for representing the semantics of the Russian verb aspect. Familiar in the Russian linguistics meanings of an aspect are considered within the framework of an integrated statement in which the verbs with the same root but different aspect semantics are opposed. The authors introduce six types of contrasting situations based on the various aspect oppositions, provide certain recommendations on specifics of their presentation.
