GENDER SIMILARITIES IN LANGUAGE: THE NEW ASPECT OF GENDER INVESTIGATIONS

Abstract.
The article presents the results of the certain works executed on the basis of quantitative methods of analyzing linguistic units which differed from the previous findings of gender and language researches. Examination of these works in the light of the modern gender theory allows revealing in them the aspects of theoretical and methodological nature requiring further investigation. The author emphasizes the special value of papers on gender similarity for further developing the theory of gender dynamics.
