Abstract.
The story by Y. Tomin “A, B, C, D and Others” is considered in the article as a typical example of genre multidimensionality in a literary tale of the 60-70s. The author proves conclusively that genre foundation of a fairy tale is renewed here by a huge potential of a science fiction, detective story, which not only “unlock” the subject, transform the canonical system of images but also intensify psychologism.
