Abstract.
The article considers the linguistic structure of the Tatar people’s epic works. In this regard, the author substantiates and compares the expressive artistic means - language poetic elements, stylistic devices, mythological models and views - when reproducing the epic biography of batyr. By the comparison of main motives of the narrative the sign and symbolic character of the epic Turkish-Tatar worldview is revealed.
