Abstract.
The article examines a tendency in the literary works to create new myth on the basis of the famous and popular plots. It is shown that myth modeling is carried out to explain historical processes and realities from the viewpoint of post-modernist theories. The authors emphasize that this tendency manifests itself most clearly in prognostic literary genres.
