FRACTAL MODELING OF THE DYNAMICS OF FUNCTIONING OF THE CONCEPT “SPIRITUAL POWER” IN THE ENGLISH MOVIE DISCOURSE OF A HISTORICAL GENRE

Abstract. The article introduces semiotic and synergic interpretation of an artistic movie discourse and movie text, specifies the content of an artistic movie discourse of a historical genre. The author examines the concept of a fractal set, justifies the possibility for using fractal as a model reconstructing the dynamics of developing contents and meanings, reveals some special features of a concept as a fractal set. The special attention is paid to describing the process of self-organization of a concept “spiritual power” in the English movie discourse of a historical genre by the material of a movie text “Alfred the Great” (1969).
