MORPHOLOGICAL SYSTEM OF MARX-STADT DIALECT

Abstract. The article considers the process of colonial koine formation in the largest German colony in the Volga region - Ekaterinen-stadt (Marx-stadt), and studies linguistic and extralinguistic factors that influenced the status and form of the dialect. By the example of the morphological system and some phonetic processes it is shown what type of a single language of colony inhabitants’ communication had formed to the beginning of the ХХ century.
