Abstract. The article considers the questions of author’s presentation nature and linguistic means of relatedness in the scientific medical journal articles. The practical significance of such knowledge for the successful translation of such texts is substantiated. The characteristic of lexical and syntactic means of the achievement of logical coherence in scientific medical texts is given.
