Abstract.
The article reveals the content of the ideas of “space” as a key notion in the world outlook of C. R. Darwin’ work “The Origin of Species”. The ways of conveying the author’s feeling and understanding of “space” by means of the language are studied. On the basis of the studied techniques the conclusions are made about the main world outlook positions that form the notion of “space”.
