STYLISTIC SYNTAX OF CONTEMPORARY GERMAN DETECTIVE

Abstract.
The article considers the stylistic syntax of the modern German detective by the material of the works “Invisible Traces” by A. Franz, “The Moon over Eiffel” by J. Berndorf, “The Seabed” by V. Klupfel, M. Kobr in order to represent the stereotypeness and the lack of diversity of syntactic structures, typical of the detective as a genre of popular literature. The syntactical constructions and methods used by the authors in these works act as the subject of the study. The author of the article uses quantitative and descriptive methods. The results of the research can be used in the teaching of the Russian and German languages, stylistics, and literary criticism.
