EMOTIONAL PORTRAIT OF A GIFTED INDIVIDUAL

Abstract.
In the article the analysis of verbal behavior of a gifted individual which is currently one of the most common types of characters used by the authors in cinematography is carried out. Russian and foreign (English language) movies are studied as a material. The key verbal characteristics of emotional portrait of a gifted individual are considered. Special attention is paid to the situations of a speech conflict where a gifted individual appears as an aggressor. The classification of the found verbal techniques is conducted, the analysis of the gifted individual behavior in conflict situations is performed. On the basis of the found verbal characteristics the attempt to identify a new psychological type of personality who is referred to as a “gifted individual” is made.
