Abstract.
The article is devoted to the revelation of the conceptualization specificity of a smart/stupid person in the Ingush and Russian idioms. On the basis of the conceptual and linguistic structures correlation of the concept “smart/stupid person” the author determines the set of meanings which involve in the objectivation of this concept and condition both universality and specificity of its representation in the studied linguo-cultures.
