Abstract.
The article deals with the genre originality of the novel by M. M. Prishvin “Sovereign’s Road”. The author analyzes the correlation of the fabulous and the mythical in the novel in terms of the mythological interpretation of “creative talent” of the writer prevailing in the modern studies of Prishvin’s works. Mythopoetics allowed the writer to express in his final work the complicated philosophical ideas, the main of which was the philosopheme of all-unity. Such interpretation of the novel-myth allows including “Sovereign’s Road” in the tradition of the Russian philosophical novel.
