GENRE FEATURES OF AUTHOR’S COLUMN “REFLECTIONS” BY FIDEL CASTRO

Abstract.
The article considers the publication of Fidel Castro from the point of view of the possibility of identifying the specific genre features of the author’s column. The articles of the politician represent a unique phenomenon of integration of political discourse and column genre. The study focuses on the analysis of the subject, the main functions and speech forms of expression of the content characterizing the author’s idiostyle. Identification of genre features that combine the specific author’s publications, contributes to the further study and description of column genre.
