Abstract. The article considers the methodological aspects of teaching the Turkish language in the lessons of linguistic country studies; carries out a comparative analysis of the programs and training and methodological support in this discipline; analyzes the methodological principles that form the basis of linguistic country studies, and traces their implementation in the preparation of textbooks for the course of linguistic country studies.
