Abstract.
The article is devoted to the analysis of lexical-semantic and stylistic peculiarities of the pieces “Kyissai Buz Dzhigit” and “Kyissai Takhir i Zukhra” by Akhmet Urazaev-Kurmashi. An attempt is made to analyze the semantic-stylistic peculiarities of words related to the flora and fauna world. The comparative analysis with the Old Turkic and Old Tatar languages is conducted in the article. The authors came to the conclusion that vocabulary consideration in thematic groups gives the opportunity to reveal more deeply the rules of inner development of that time (the second half of the XIX century) specific for the language.
