Abstract.
The article analyzes the figurative embodiment of the theme of childhood in the creative work of the poet of the XX century Arseny Tarkovsky. The way of personality formation in the world, recreated by the poet, is considered and analyzed. The ideologically-themed complex associated with the theme of childhood is in the center of the study. The world of children’s experiences, memories and impressions is considered in its specificity in all phases of the poet’s creative work. Another important aspect is the study of the transformation of the life material into the artwork.
