LINGUISTIC MEANS OF POLITENESS REPRESENTATION IN THE SPEECH ACT OF A PROPOSAL: A GENDER ASPECT (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE MODERN GERMAN LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The article reflects the results of the pragmatical analysis of the verbal means, used to implement the strategies of politeness in the speech act of a proposal in the framework of the everyday German language discourse by men and women. The conducted research allows making the conclusion about a weak intensity of a gender component while verbalizing the proposal. The gender differentiation shows itself at the level of the frequency of using the imperative sentences and the frequency of some lexical-grammatical peculiarities of implementing the specific strategies.
