Abstract.
The article considers the questions of formation and functioning of the adverbial participle in the Upper Karakh dialect of the southern dialects of the Avar language. Special attention is paid to the features of the adverbial participle of the Upper Karakh dialect, manifested in phonetic and lexical differences of verbal stems, as well as in the uniqueness of the suffixes: instead of wide-spread in the literary Avar language suffix -ун in the past tense in Upper Karakh dialect the suffix -y is presented, instead of suffix -н - the zero suffix.
