Abstract.
In the article the terminographic Russian-Yakut translation in the compiling of the translation dictionary of words-terms and terminological phrases of the transport system of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is considered for the first time in the Yakut linguistics. Transport is an important constituent part of the economy of the republic as it is a material carrier between areas, industries and enterprises. The author describes the sequence of works on the creation of translation dictionary divided into several stages.
