ANALYTICAL INDICATOR KĀ AND ADJECTIVAL FORM OF A NAME IN THE HINDI LANGUAGE

Abstract.
The article discusses the problems of interpretation and functioning of the formant kā in the Hindi language. The author examines the shortcomings of the traditional view attributing it to the category of postpositions or case endings and proposes to use the term “analytical indicator”. To describe the combinations of a name with this indicator the researcher introduces the conception “adjectival form” and provides examples of using adjectival forms in the Hindi literature of the XX- XXI centuries.
