Abstract.
The article deals with the specificity of a synonymic row in the comparative aspect. The chain of consecutive trains and the formation of thought shows that both nuclear and peripheral meanings of one synonym and peripheral meanings of different synonyms enter into the complicated permanent relations in the process of sense formation. These meanings in the process of sense formation can be selective to the meanings of certain semantic classes.
