THE AVAILABILITY OF “NATIONAL COLOURING” FOR A TRANSLATOR-CRAFTSMAN

Abstract.
With a certain knowledge of separate aspects, to date there are open questions of the formation of an artistic translation in the Kabardian-Circassian literature. For the purpose of the study of the problem the translations of texts, conducted in 50-60s of the XX century, are analyzed, which played a significant role in the formation of the translation and became defining in the history of translation of this national literature. The author substantiates the statement that the translation through a word-for-word translation, whatever qualitative it was, can’t reflect the national specificity of the original to the full extent.
