THE FACTORS OF LINGUISTIC BARRIER IN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION IN THE SUBJECT-ORIENTED ENGLISH LINGUA FRANCA

Abstract. The article offers the concept of a subject-oriented English Lingua Franca (SOELF) as an instrument of international business communication of Russian speaking and foreign specialists. The causes of communicative failures, contributing to the appearance of a linguistic barrier in the process of social interaction in SOELF, are examined. The indicators of an accent of foreign communicants are defined and communicative-relevant phonetic characteristics of the accent of Russian speaking users of SOELF are revealed.
