FAMILY RITUALS OF KUBAN AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF MATERNAL TRADITIONS (ETHNOLINGUISTIC ANALYSIS)

Abstract.
The article presents general results of ethnolinguistic study of the Kuban family rituals. The Kuban traditions are examined in the context of Slavonic rites and against the background of the Ukrainian and South Russian traditions, having served the basis for the formation of the Kuban ritual culture. In the paper Slavonic motives of the Kuban rituals: the theme of road, well-being, fertility, allotments, comprehension of transitional moments in the framework of semantic oppositions, the interconnection of cultural codes (actional, character and object) while conveying the ritual semantics, are observed. Besides, the paper describes regional peculiarities of the Kuban family rituals, connected with ethnic structure and with a war life of migrants.
