MEANS TO REALIZE MODIFYING CONCEPTS IN THE GERMAN LANGUAGE

Abstract.
The article examines the specifics of conceptual system formation at the subordinate level by the material of the subcategories of a class “human being” in the German language. As a driving force of the sub-categorization process the author considers the concepts-modifiers the interaction of which with the initial category results in detailing of its categorization macro-component and narrowing the set of cognitive models. To the basic research results we may refer the functional division of the concepts-modifiers depending on the resulting category level and identification of the concepts with pair realization.
