Abstract.
The article aims to study the cognitive features of a question’s essence implementing on violation or preservation of privacy in the English-speaking culture. The paper provides the data of the semantic and syntactic analysis of the English and American authors’ literary fragments which introduce the contexts describing the circumstances of a question’s intrusion into the private space of an individual.
