Abstract.
The article examines the factors determining bilingual communication and emotive valency of the evaluative statements in the process of interpreting the translation of a bilingual communication. The authors explore the interaction of a communicative load with the different explicit markers of a various semiotic nature which are of great importance for understanding the dominating function of a text. Linguistic correlates of emotions and evaluations - emotiveness and evaluative nature - are under analysis. Intonation as a means of communication is examined in relation to interpreting the translation of a bilingual communication.
