Abstract.
In the study of emotive space the most attention is usually paid to the lexical means of representation of emotions. Meanwhile, the other levels of the text organization also deserve the close attention. This article deals with the peculiarities of organization of the emotive space of the text at the syntactic level. In particular, the leading role of syntax in the formation process of artistic expressiveness connected directly with the emotive component is asserted. The analysis is based on the prose of I. S. Turgenev.
