THE TERMS OF COGNATION IN FOLKLORE GENRES OF THE CHECHEN LANGUAGE (GENDER ASPECT)

Abstract.
The article examines the terms of cognation in the Chechen phraseological units, sayings and proverbs from gender positions. The gender marked are male and female terms of cognation, expressed by separate lexical and descriptive denotations. The gender significant terms of cognation give full characteristic of positive and negative features of people of opposite sex in all aspects of customs and traditions of the Chechen nation. The study of lexical units with terms of cognation illustrates the presence of two cultural spheres - masculinity and femininity at the same time.
