Abstract.
The article presents the illustration of the language policy of China in relation to the functioning of the Russian language on its territory for the whole period of the development of Russia-China diplomatic relations, the character of which reflected directly on the level of significance of the Russian language in China during the whole history. Nowadays when the intensification of the Russia-China interaction is observed, the Russian language is considered one of the most popular languages in China.
