SPECIFICS OF REPRESENTING THE CONCEPTS “FOOD” AND “ХИНКАЛ” IN THE PAREMIOLOGICAL UNITS OF THE DAGESTAN LANGUAGES

Abstract.
The article examines specific for the Dagestan languages paremiological units actualizing the concepts “food” and “хинкал”; the author emphasizes the specifics of the paremias’ internal form and ethno-cultural background of the nationally determined components of the concepts “food” and “хинкал”. These concepts are realized in the Dagestan proverbs and sayings which fix the realia, peculiarities of everyday life, customs, beliefs and social relations typical for the life and activity of the Dagestan people. The author by the concrete examples justifies the thesis that the nature of basic values in the paremiological vocabulary of the Dagestan languages is integrally related to the ethnic character, ethical and ideological norms of the Dagestan people.
