Abstract.
The article deals with the way of organization of associative-semantic space of the poetic text by Igor Severyanin “Twofold Silence” by means of the method of modeling the associative-semantic field. The conducted analysis confirms that any literary text is a system the elements of which are in the certain structural connections and relations, expressing the creative idea of the writer. The semantic volume of the work is given not by the direct meaning of individual words and word combinations, but by the associations that they generate.
