ON THE QUESTION OF COGNITIVE-SEMANTIC PECULIARITIES OF SOME TEMPORAL CONNECTORS-PREPOSITIONS IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract.
In the article the attempt to identify some cognitive-semantic peculiarities of a number of temporal connectors-prepositions in the English language, in particular, the prepositions that can point to the sequence of time periods or events on the time base of the single eventful time is made. The author believes that the temporal prepositions, forming one synonymic row, may present the different ways of time conceptualization in human consciousness.
