Abstract.
The article examines the genre-style organization of stories of a contemporary Ossetian writer Tamerlan Tadtaev. The author of the article analyzes the conceptual foundations and literary peculiarities of the writer’s stories. T. Tadtaev in his war stories is interested in a man, his thoughts and feelings, as any war is a test of a man’s endurance and moral capability. The writer’s stories fit into the general context of works of this subject matter and continue realistic traditions in describing the war.
