THE ROLE OF METAPHOR IN THE PERSONAL INTERNET-DISCOURSE

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the problem of revealing linguo-pragmatic and rhetorical-poetic regularities in the personal Internet-discourse. In contrast with the existing works the paper analyzes oral and written speech of the Internet not in the lexical aspect, but in the categorical system of the concept of rhetorical poetry; the peculiarities of nicknames in the forums of free communication are examined; the phenomenon of generation of a specific personal-authorial sphere of figurativeness by a concrete nickname figurativeness, defining the character of metaphoricalness of all the corpus of texts of a certain user of the Internet, forum. In the study a new function of a metaphor, observed in the Internet-discourse, but, possibly, having a wider sphere of spreading, is revealed.
