Abstract.
The article examines the laughing creative work of the Kabardinian humourist and satirist writer Biberd Zhurtov. The study focuses not only on the comic elements of the literary works but also on the spiritual and moral-esthetical aspects of B. Zhurtov’s satirical and humourous prose. The paper for the first time presents the comprehensive study of satire and humour in the writer’s creative work on the whole.
