Abstract.
The article deals with the urbanonyms of Morshansk in detail. The author singles out the basic attributes, underlying the names of the town, analyzes the distinctive features of the location of the streets, and gives a complete list of the names of intraurban objects. It is proved that the process of denomination is officially regulated and does not depend on the human factor.
