Abstract. The paper studies the notion "feast" in the Russian and Korean linguistic views of the world. The author analyzes the results of the psycholinguistic experiment carried out among the native Russian and Korean speakers in order to reveal associations related to the Korean and Russian national holidays. The obtained results show that the native Korean speakers put first the history of the holiday and the traditions associated with it, and for the Russian recipients the celebration itself is very important, and not the things that are associated with it.
