Abstract.
The article examines the problem of studying the genre of the festive table talk at the lessons of Literature in the fifth form. A system of the fragments of Literature lessons is proposed, where it is possible to use tasks connected with the examination of this genre on the basis of literary texts included in the school programme as a supplement to the main content of the lesson.
