Abstract.
The article examines some methods of actualization of the synthesis of genres in a literary text. The novel under consideration represents by itself an interesting example of using such method - the nomination of the stylizing genre is explicitly introduced through the title and is consequently realized at several text levels. In the course of the text realization this element, while interacting with two other genres the features of which are present in the novel, contributes a lot to the revealing of idea-aesthetic and meaning component of the literary work under analysis.
