THE TATAR LANGUAGE IN THE CENTRAL ORGANIZATIONS OF TATARSTAN (1920-1930S)

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the examination of the role of the Tatar language in central organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan in the 20-30s of the XX century. The functioning of the Tatar language in state institutions and people’s commissariats is examined in the paper. People’s commissariats of internal affairs, justice, finance, health, social security, and also administration of communications, municipal maintenance administration and the Tatar administration of statistics are research objects. The study is based on the materials of the National Archive of the Republic of Tatarstan, periodicals of the 20-30s of the last century, reports, collections of meetings and congresses and etc. In the end of the work a comparative analysis with the similar process of the end of the XX century - the beginning of the XXI century is conducted as well.
