ON THE ISSUE OF TRANSLATION OF EVALUATIVE VOCABULARY IN THE POLITICAL DISCOURSE

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the role of evaluative vocabulary in the political discourse and translation peculiarities of units containing evaluative component. The use of evaluative vocabulary in the political discourse serves as its major function - the influencing one. The task of an interpreter is an efficient and adequate use of language means of influence with a different degree of evaluation intensity. Special attention is paid to the means of evaluation realization including explicit expression, neutralization, creation the evaluation in the translation in case of its absence in the original, and intensification and decrease of the evaluation intensity as well.
