Abstract.
The article considers the syntactic function of interjections together with the pragmatic one in the Russian language. These two functions are not only interconnected, but also interdependent, since the syntactic function of interjection is determined by the pragmatic one: the intention is also realized through the sentence construction, which the speaker forms, and through syntactic peculiarities of a linguistic sign.
