PROPHESY ABOUT THE FUTURE IN THE NOVEL BY CHYNGYZ AITMATOV “CASSANDRA'S BRAND”

Abstract.
The article analyzes predictions about the future of mankind in relation to Filofei’s prophesy sent to the people from cosmic space in the novel by Chyngyz Aitmatov “Cassandra's Brand”. This novel, along with the novel “The Scaffold”, contains the warnings on the disasters endangering the world in the nearest future. If the people won’t listen to these warnings the human society will be in great danger. The writer through his character Filofei discovers the problems and shows the ways to solve them. He only wants to be understood. The world and mankind still can be saved.
